Low-Carb Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Bell Peppers

The first time I had a Philly cheesesteak was in Philadelphia, so I definitely had some high standards when making this low carb to be close to that good shit. Ingredients: •8 green bell peppers, cut in half •2 tbs. of olive oil •1 tbs. garlic powder •1 tbs. of salt and pepper •2 lbs. lean ground beef •1 1/2 cup mushrooms •1/2 red pepper, sliced •1 small red onion, sliced •2 cups fat-free mozzarella cheese Directions: 1️. Preheat oven to 400. While oven is heating, cut and deseed the green peppers, layer in a pan, coat with 1 tbs. of olive oil, salt and pepper, then cover in foil and bake for 10 minutes. 2️. Pour the other 1 tbs. of olive oil into a skillet, then heat over high heat. Add the ground beef and garlic powder, then cook till no longer pink. Remove from heat. 3️. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms, red bell pepper, and onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender. 4️. Remove the green peppers from oven, then layer with the ground beef, veggies, cheese, and salt and pepper. 5️. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serves 8 (2 halves) ✅Macros per serving: ~199 calories (21.8g protein/7.1g carbs/9.7g fat)
