Chocolate Chip Protein Bites



You can literally not survive without protein, moreover thrive without it! With that being said, adding protein in to your baked goods can be incredibly beneficial!


INGREDIENTS:

-1 large banana mashed, ripe

-1 egg

-3/4 cup oat flour

-1/4 cup (1 scoop) protein powder (I used Ice Cream Sandwich Level-1)

-1/4 tsp vanilla

-1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

-3/4 cup fat-free Greek yogurt (I used vanilla)

-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 400 F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, mash large banana and add in Greek yogurt; mix well.

3. Whisk egg and add to liquid ingredients. Fold in dry ingredients (everything but the chocolate chips) and mix well.

4. Add in chocolate chips and mix until evening distributed.

5. Scoop dough by the tablespoon onto lined cookie sheets and bake for 15-18 minutes until edges are light brown.

6. Serve warm or cooled and store leftovers in refrigerator.


Two bites equally one serving!


MACROS PER SERVING: ~194 calories (8.2g protein, 8g fat, 24g protein)
